The
mission of KPRI is to highlight the diverse aspects of the Kashmir conflict and
work towards an amicable resolution that aligns with the aspirations of the
Kashmiri people, in accordance with United Nations resolutions. This mission
ultimately aims to promote regional peace and stability.
Since
its inception, KPRI has undertaken a range of activities, including publications, seminars, workshops, internships,
briefings, conferences, and interviews. From January 2024 to December 2024, the
institute successfully organized over 20 programs across
these categories. The primary objective of these initiatives was to project the
Kashmir
case on both national and international platforms.
Additionally, these activities aimed to raise awareness among the general
public, students, and educators about the history of the Kashmir conflict,
relevant UN
resolutions, recent developments in Indian-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), and
potential solutions to the ongoing conflict.
